Netflix Selects Perfect Performer for Mr. 2 in One Piece Season 3
The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, although the true confrontation won’t take place until the next season, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has recently been selected.
The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Bentham. The role can use their power to transform into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve touched with their right hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will portray a interpretation of that role reimagined as gender non-binary, rather than as a drag queen, in the live-action series, as in the initial comic and cartoon version.
This performer is joined by multiple recently announced actors set to bring Baroque Works to life, featuring chief Sir Crocodile, brought to life by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who also joins the cast as the ruler of the fictional land.
Even though Bon Clay is a major member of the organization, the persona will be introduced in One Piece the third season. With season 2 expected to adapt the Little Garden arc, this marks a major departure in the schedule of the character’s debut, one that could indicate more adjustments to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of precise humor and emotional depth makes them a standout choice for the role. Along with their recent voice performance in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and multiple awards for writing and starring in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, showcasing the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece program is set to return for its next installment on March 10th, 2026.
